Paul Suhr Esq. was born in Korea on January 20, 1940. He earned a B.A. in English from Campbell College in 1969, an M.A. in English from UNC-Greensboro in 1972, an M.S. in Library Science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1975 and his JD from NCCU Law School in 1988. He is an Attorney at Law Offices of Paul A. Suhr PLLC, which has 2 locations: Raleigh Office: 7200 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 200 Raleigh, NC 27615 and Fayetteville Office: 5052 Yadkin Rd, Suite 104, Fayetteville, NC 28303. He focuses on immigration, criminal defense and business law. He has practiced in criminal law in District and Superior Courts of Wake County for over 30 years. He has been named National Trial Lawyer Association Top 100 and has been rated Distinguished for both legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review in 2006. He has earned a President Award for Outstanding Community Service Awards, in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and has won a medal and award from President of Republic of Korea in 1989. In the past he was a writer and poet from 1958-1973 and has written 20 short stories. Paul is a member of the American Bar Association, NCBA and the AILA. In his free time, he enjoys gardening.
